The warm, breezy summer season is upon us! If you are as excited as us about this new, vibrant weather then we know you must be excited to dance into the lighter evenings in chic elegance. Whatever your shape and size, you can look and feel gorgeous with our fabulous Do’s and Don’ts for accentuating your best features and enjoying your curves.

Pear

If you are a pear, your lower body will be wider than your upper body. You will have a rounded bottom and a beautifully well-defined waist.

Best Features: Your upper body, arms and torso

Dress Aspiration: Show off that tiny waist off yours

DO

  1. Wear dresses that hit right above the waist
  2. Look for boat neck, square and cowl necklines
  3. Experiment with ruffles and large details on top to give proportion to the bottom half of your body

DON’T

  1. Hide your waist
  2. Forget to wear dresses with lighter tops and darker bottoms to highlight your smaller upper body
  3. Be afraid to elongate your legs with interesting dress patterns and styles

If you are an inverted triangle, you will have a broad chest and narrow shoulders with a narrow waist and hips.

DO

  1. Look for a dress that creates the illusion of a waist
  2. Wear wide belts to accent your upper body

DO

  1. DO go for v-neck tops to create the illusion of a longer torso

DON’T

  1. Wear excessive fabric around your midsection

  1. I love tvsn!! I’ve been shopping for 13 or more years. But I do have a problem with some of the jewellery. Twice now I have paid for a solid stone and received a clear stone with a slice of gem on the top. Very disappointed as my confidence as taken a hit:(
I sent my ring back but I had worn it before I realized, so now I have a ring with a slice through the middle…. of glass? and gem????!!!!
