TVSN: What path brought you to TVSN?
Grant: I’ve been working in Film and TV for a number of years here and in the states, and loved QVC in America. Moving to Australia to be with my partner the opportunity came up to work with TVSN, and I couldn’t say no!
TVSN: What excites you most about being a TVSN presenter?
Grant: I’m excited about working with our amazing products and guests, getting to find out more about their stories and sharing them with everyone in the TVSN family. I’m also looking forward to meeting some of our customers and find out what excites them and what’s important to them. The live television aspect is something I’m new to, so the constantly changing items is going to make each show different and exciting.
TVSN: Where would we find you when you’re not at TVSN?
Grant: Down in the park with my partner, dogs and a good book.
TVSN: What has been your most embarrassing moment on TVSN?
Grant: Luckily, all the tapes have been destroyed, so we will never have to see it.
TVSN: What did you want to be as a child?
Grant: I wanted to be on Broadway but that dream ended when I heard myself sing for the first time.
TVSN: What’s your favourite thing to do on the weekends?
Grant: Catching up with friends and family over dinner in the evening and during the day taking my dogs on a long walk in the park. I’m also partial to a good movie on the couch at home.
TVSN: If you weren’t presenting, how could you see yourself?
Grant: Being a travel writer – I always love to go to new places!
TVSN: What’s your secret skill or talent?
Grant: I used to be a martial arts instructor – I was a 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. I also make a mean grilled cheese.
TVSN: Do you have any pets?
Grant: Two amazing dogs, Tiger and Lily.
TVSN: Do you have any nicknames?
Grant: Nothing flattering
TVSN: Do you have any fears or phobias?
Grant: SPIDERS, when I moved to Australia people were always telling me to check my shoes for Huntsmans (I thought they were kidding, like Drop Bears), then it happened, a giant Huntsman’s crawled out of my shoe, I nearly died.
TVSN: Who was the most influential person to you as a child?
Grant: Who was the most influential person to you as a child? My mother, she overcame a lot, and now in her 60’s runs marathons regularly.
TVSN: What is your favourite place in the world?
Grant: My home town of LA is special to me but Sydney is where my heart is! Outside of that Cape Town in South Africa.
